EURIM Content and Issues Panel
EURIM's
Content and Issues Panel has responsibility for making sure that
EURIM content reflects both parliamentary and industry priorities.
The CIP provides a forum for Parliamentary and Industry members to
exchange information on strategy and policy issues, and to agree
priorities for action so that all EURIM activity has buy-in from
the full membership and to ensure that parliamentary and
industry priorities are aligned.
Objectives:
- To
enable parliamentary and industry members of EURIM to exchange
information on strategy and policy issues.
- To
agree priorities for action.
- To
ensure that EURIM activity is aligned with political
priorities
- To
ensure that EURIM activity is balanced, both politically and
in terms of member involvement.
Operation
The
group is effectively a liaison group between EURIM working group
chairmen, active members and parliamentarians, where
political priorities and industry priorities can be aired in a
single forum and the resulting priorities for EURIM activity
agreed. The group meets formally twice a year with scope for
informal or virtual meetings in between if necessary.
Membership is primarily by invitation but members are welcome to
apply. The group reports to EURIM Council.
