EURIM Quality of Information Subgroup

The aim of the subgroup is to identify material on the accuracy or otherwise of public sector information, the damage and waste caused by inaccurate/distorted data and the guidance available on how to ensure that information is fit for purpose.

IMPROVING the EVIDENCE BASE or The cost of Poor Quality Data

Turbulent times in Whitehall and also in local Councils call for a steady nerve and complete confidence in the data that supports difficult decision-making. Timed to coincide with the launch of the EURIM paper on the ‘Quality of Information’, this is an opportunity for Conference delegates to hear at first hand the case being put to Government and the precautions needed to avoid costly mistakes based on poor information
